Readiness Testing and Formative Assessments
Allows districts to conduct readiness testing and formative assessments of incoming kindergarten students (within the regular school calendar or before the regular school calendar). Requires districts to provide to the parents of each incoming kindergarten student the date and time of the student's testing or assessment. Allows districts to consider up to two of the days set aside for readiness testing and formative assessments to be kindergarten instructional days.
