| Reasons for Suspension, Expulsion or Alternative Placement | |
| Amends Tennessee Code Annotated, Section 49-2-203(a)(7) by deleting the subdivision in its entirety and by substituting instead the following: (7) Suspend, dismiss or alternatively place pupils when the progress, safety, or efficiency of the school makes it necessary or when disruptive, threatening or violent students endanger the safety of other students or school system employees. http://www.legislature.state.tn.us/bills/currentga/Chapter/PC0315.pdf | |
