Appeal Hearings

Provides that if a hearing officer is appointed to hear an appeal of an extended-term suspension or expulsion, the local board must render its decision not later than the next regularly scheduled meeting of the board following the date of the conclusion of the hearing of the appeal by the hearing officer. http://www.kslegislature.org/bills/2006/485.pdf
