Hate Crime and Bullying Laws
Revises laws concerning hate crimes and bullying; relates to civil actions for for bias crime victims; adds bias crimes to the list with which a victim may receive compensation; requires police training in bias intimidation crimes; provides for additional penalties for the crime of bias intimidation; establishes the Commission on Bullying in Schools to study and make recommendations regarding the implementation and effectiveness of school bullying laws and regulations and student legal remedies. http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/2006/Bills/S3000/2975_R1.PDF
