| Study Commission on Methods of Restraint | |
| Requires the Department of Education's division of special education to collect data on and report to the Chairs of the House and Senate Education Committees the following information: (1) The number of special education classes by local education agency; (2) The number of special education students by local education agency; (3) The number of special education teachers by local education agency; (4) The number of special education aides by local education agency; (5) The number and types of restraints and seclusion utilized over the twelve (12) months following this act's effective date by local education agency; (6) The number of local education agencies that provide training in positive behavioral supports; and (7) The number of local education agencies that provide training in the appropriate use of restraints and seclusion.
