RITo governor 07/2001P-12This act would prohibit, commencing on July 1, 2005, public educational institutions from assigning a student an identification number which incorporates the students social security number and prohibits the display of four (4) or more consecutive numbers of a social security number on any publicly accessible document. Adds district completion rates to list of indicators that must be reported and requires boards to have district dropout rates audited annually at district expense; establishes a "Gold Peformance Rating Program" based on enhanced performance.
