Mathematics
Invest an additional $7 million in the Math Achievement Fund to make it available to more than 100 schools.

Mathematics and Science
Support SB1 and SB2, which will recruit more students into the math and science fields.

Facilities
Alleviate the worst conditioned school facilities, especially those in high-growth districts

Teaching Quality -- Compensation
Invest $50 million into the retirement account for teachers and state workers.

High School -- Transitions to Postsecondary
Create a sustainable proram for the Kentucky Covenant by 2008, which will provide incentives for high achievement in math and science. The program will also ensure that every high school student who works hard, gets good grades and takes rigorous courses, will be guaranteed an affordable college education in Kentucky regardless of financial means.

Access
Make higher education available to all Kentuckians regardless of financial condition.

Financial Aid
Invest $20 million more in needs-based assistance through the College Access Program and the Kentucky Tuition Grant program to provide financial aid to an additional 11,800 Kentuckians, including 2,400 who would not have enrolled otherwise.

Adult Learning
Invest $5 million to create a needs-based program for adult part-time employed students.
