Pre-Kindergarten
Add 10,000 more four-year-olds to the More at Four pre-kindergarten program for a total of 30,000 four-year-olds.

Teacher Compensation
Continue to raise teacher pay which is up 18% since 2005.

School Districts
Fully fund low-wealth school districts.

NCLB -- Consequences for Schools
Send turn-around teams into failing schools.

Finance
Audit every school to ensure full accountability for every education dollar.

Dual Enrollment
Expand the Learn and Earn early college high schools statewide, which will allow high school students to take colleges courses and earn an associate's degree with just one extra year of study. This will help families save thousands and increase the state's graduation rate.

School Safety
Provide additional resources to enhance school safety.

Tuition/Fees
Keep college tuition low.

Financial Aid
Continue increasing financial aid for needy students (now providing $300 million in college aid).

Economic/Workforce Development
Provide grants for students in low- and moderate-income families to attend college if students agree to work 10 hours a week. This program will pay for students who participate in the Learn and Earn program to attend 2-years of college at a state university.

Health
Offer health care for foster children up to 21 years of age while they pursue a college education.
