WASigned into law 04/2009P-12Section 113 charged the office of the superintendent of public instruction with making biennial determinations of the state educational system's capacity to: provide the capital facilities necessary to support a particular instructional program; the staffing levels necessary to support an instructional program—both in terms of actual numbers of staff and in terms of experience level and type of staff; higher education system's capacity to prepare the next generation of education and the availability of data and a data system capable of helping the state allocate appropriate resources in a manner consistent with evidence-based practices that are shown to improve student learning. Office of the superintendent is to present this capacity report on a biennial basis beginning December 1, 2010.
