Measuring Up to the Model: A Ranking of State Charter Laws - Showing progress for the public charter school movement, this year's Measuring Up to the Model: A Ranking of State Charter Laws has been released by the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools. Of 43 states with charter laws on the books, the top five states with laws closest to the alliance's models are Minnesota, Maine, Washington, Colorado, and Florida.
