KIPP Middle Schools: Impacts on Achievement and Other Outcomes - Mathematica researchers found that the Knowledge Is Power Program (KIPP) has a positive, statistically significant effect on the achievement of middleschoolers and there were few signs that KIPP was "creaming" better students. New KIPP students tended to be low-achieving, low-income and non-white, though they are less likely to have been classified as having limited English proficiency. The report is 180 pages.
