Document Number: 10835 Six Districts Begin the Principal Pipeline Initiative - In August of 2011, six large school districts were chosen by the Wallace Foundation to participate in its Principal Pipeline Initiative: Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, NC; Denver Public Schools, CO; Gwinnett County Public Schools, GA; Hillsborough County Public Schools, FL; New York City Department of Education, NY; and Prince George's County Public Schools, MD. The multi-year initiative supports the districts in their efforts to develop leadership standards, high-quality training, selective hiring and on-the-job evaluation.
