Improving Post-High School Outcomes for Transition-Age Students with Disabilities: An Evidence Review - Hoping to address the gap in post-high school outcomes that persists between students with disabilities and those without, researchers embarked on literature review using the What Works Clearinghouse (WWC) systematic review procedures. Looking for strategies designed to help students with disabilities transition to employment, postsecondary education, or independent living, they found only 43 eligible studies; of those, 16 met the WWC standards. They concluded there was little support from high-quality intervention research for identifying a range of programs to help students make successful transitions. (R.
