Delaware's Statewide School Emergency Preparedness System - Delaware is first in the nation to develop a process for implementing statewide changes to multi-hazard emergency management for every school in the state. Intended for policymakers and the public, this brief defines comprehensive planning, the origins and development of Delaware's emergency preparedness initiative, technology's role in the model, and a look at federal guidelines for schools and districts by the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
