Profiles of For-Profit and Nonprofit Education Management Organizations, 14th Edition 2011-2012 - The school year 2011-2012 saw continued growth for for-profit and nonprofit education management sectors, though the nonprofits' growth has been faster than their for-profit counterparts. Charter schools spurred the creation of new education management organizations (EMOs) and the growth of those already established. There are large differences across states;for instance Michigan stands out with 79% of its charter schools operated by for-profit EMOs. Print selectively - it's 250 pages.
