The School Discipline Consensus Report: Strategies from the Field to Keep Students Engaged in School and Out of the Juvenile Justice System - To reduce the millions of youth suspended, expelled, and arrested each year while creating safe and supportive schools for all educators and students, this lengthy (462-page) report offers a road map to more than 24 policies and 60 evidence-based recommendations. In essence, it calls for an end to expensive and discriminatory Zero Tolerance policies, but shows ways to end those policies while keeping students and school staff safer.
