Determining the Cost of a Basic or Core Education MS Word - Recent education reforms and court decisions have intensified the need for a useable model or procedure for determining the cost of a core education. Several states are reexamining the issue of adequacy in terms of "what is a core education and what does it cost?" While few procedures for determining these ideal spending ranges exist within education, other public service areas or the private sector might provide examples.
