Accountability and Students with Disabilities MS Word - Analyzes state and local policies and their relationship to the development of inclusive schooling practices. The framework corresponds with the prevailing reform paradigm in most states by focusing on standards-based systemic reform across six major policy areas: curriculum, student assessment, accountability, personnel development and professional training, finance and governance. This Issue Brief extends the discussion of one of these policy areas -- accountability -- by defining the concept and illustrating six approaches to its implementation.
