Teachers’ Professional Lives: A View from Nine Industrialized Countries - In addressing its own teacher quality concern, the United States should take a closer look at how Japan professionally supports, motivates and compensates teachers, according to a survey conducted by the Council for Basic Education's Schools Around the World program.
