Document Number: 3630 Delaware School Accountability: Delaware Student Testing Program - Delaware’s accountability system determines school performance in several ways. First, it bases performance on the students taught in a school – for at least 91 days per year – and results are allocated across schools for students who attended different schools in different grades. Second, the system holds schools accountable for absolute performance, for improvement from one two-year measurement cycle to the next, and for how well they improve the performance of low-performing students. These three measures determine a school’s performance rating, with additional information to be collected before schools are placed into school improvement status.
