Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP): Requirements and Options MS Word - This report, written for the Minnesota Department of Education in 1998, provides a framework for defining school performance that is still useful in light of "No Child Left Behind" 2001. The author provides an overview of four different models for calculating AYP: using simple gain scores, using performance indices, requiring multiple changes for students at different levels and using statistical procedures.
