School Technology and Readiness Report: The Power of Digital Learning Integrating Digital Content - This report asserts that so much focus has been put on hardware, connectivity and rudimentary technology skills that our schools and students have not realized the full potential of digital learning. The report provides guidelines and tools for technology integration in the classroom, as well as outlining the potential of digital learning and recommendations on digital content. It includes charts on teacher preparedness, types of teacher technology use, methods of integration into classrooms and Internet access organized by school characteristics. One major finding is that while a majority of teachers utilize technology to perform administrative functions, only 33% of K-12 teachers say that they feel "very well-prepared" or "well-prepared" to integrate high-quality digital content into instruction.
