Document Number: 3725 U.S. Department of Education Supplemental Services - The U.S. Department of Education has added a new section on supplemental educational services to its Web site. As part of the No Child Left Behind legislation, when a disadvantaged child is attending a low-performing school, federal funds can be used to provide "supplemental services" for that child – extra help provided to students in reading, language arts and math.
