The Logic and the Basic Principles of Scientific Based Research - Submitted Paper - As part of a U.S. Department of Education workshop, Michael Feuer and Lisa Towne summarized a study by the National Research Council's Committee on Scientific Principles in Education Research. The principles include, for example, posing significant questions that can be investigated empirically, linking research to theory, and replicating and generalizing.
