Demographic Trends in the 20th Century - Based on information contained in each U.S. census taken from 1900-2000, this report illustrates the changes that have taken place in the American population over the course of the 20th century. The report focuses on national trends, but also contains information on specific regions and metropolitan areas. Information addresses a variety of factors, including population size, age, gender composition, racial makeup and geographic distribution.
