The Jed Foundation - This foundation raises public awareness on the issue of college-student suicide and encourages quality mental health services be provided to postsecondary students. Some of their programs include the Pilot Suicide Prevention Program aimed at developing a research-based suicide prevention program to implement on college campuses nationwide; and the National College Suicide Registry, which seeks to establish accurate information on the number of attempted and completed suicides on college campuses. The foundation also provides suicide prevention resources for parents and students, and a link to the Ulifeline Web site created by their organization....
