Document Number: 5632 Iowa's Creative Economy - Several organizations and individuals are involved in activities related to Iowa's creative economy. The University of Iowa conducted an assessment of the state's creative economy to define its size and scope, measure how it compares with the United States and discern the value of the creative economy to the larger Iowa economy. Governor Tom Vilsak has promoted historic preservation to create livable cities and towns, economic vitality, and to attract and keep people in the state. And Iowa's Department of Cultural Affairs developed the "Imagine Iowa: 2010" initiative to leverage the state's cultural assets for economic development purposes....Related Issues Curriculum |
