Judge Baker Children’s Center - Founded in 1917, the Judge Baker Children’s Center provides interventions and research for serving youth at risk for persistent academic and social failure. The Center runs the Manville School, a day school for children with a variety of emotional, behavioral, learning and neurological issues which challenge their success in traditional schools. Students are taught by teaching teams composed of a mentor and assistant teacher in classes of six to nine students, and both students and their families are offered specialized support. This Web Site contains links to Center research, training opportunities and articles written by staff of the Center’s media center....
