Document Number: 5760 Judge Baker Children’s Center - Founded in 1917, the Judge Baker Children’s Center provides interventions and research for serving youth at risk for persistent academic and social failure. The Center runs the Manville School, a day school for children with a variety of emotional, behavioral, learning and neurological issues which challenge their success in traditional schools. Students are taught by teaching teams composed of a mentor and assistant teacher in classes of six to nine students, and both students and their families are offered specialized support.
