Examples of Early Dispute Resolution Strategies - This list provides examples of early dispute resolution strategies being utilized by state and local education agencies to resolve special education and early intervention conflicts. It identifies the strategies, provides a brief description of each and lists some states where the programs are being implemented. Listed programs include IEP facilitation, parent-to-parent assistance, shuttle mediation and arbitration.
