The Nation's Report Card: Reading 2005 - This report presents results of the National Assessment of Educational Progress 2005 4th- and 8th-grade reading assessments. Results are disaggregated by a number of factors, including race, gender, geographic location, highest level of parents' education, type of school and eligibility for free or reduced-price lunch. The 2005 achievement levels also are compared to previous test years. Also available are state snapshot reports. (Marianne Perie, Wendy S. Grigg and Patricia L.
