The National Science Foundation (NSF) - Established in 1950, the NSF is the federal government's only agency dedicated to the support of education and fundamental research in all scientific and engineering disciplines. This Web site contains links to the foundation's annual reports, and to the Directorate for Education and Human Resource, whose goal is to achieve excellence in U.S. science, technology, engineering and mathematics education at all levels and in all settings through programs such as the Math and Science Partnership Program.
