The State of State Science Standards 2005 - This report states that, "Science education in America is under assault, with 'discovery learning' on one flank and the Discovery Institute on the other." The report reviews science standards in the states, awarding an "honors" grade of an "A" or "B" to 19 states, a "C" or "D" to 16 states and a failing grade to 15 states.
