Strengthening Transitions by Encouraging Career Pathways: A look at State Policies and Practices - Higher education and workforce development are increasingly linked in today's in today's knowledge-based economy. Studies show that in order to be successful, nearly everyone needs some kind of education and training beyond high school. This report uses specific state examples to discuss high school to postsecondary transition strategies, including graduation requirements, dual enrollment, curricular alignment, and transfer and articulation polices.
