Teaching Science in Five Countries: Results From the TIMSS 1999 Video Study - This report presents the results of a study of 8th-grade science teaching, conducted as part of the TIMSS 1999 Video Study. The nations include the United States and four countries that outperformed the United States on the 1995 TIMSS: Australia, the Czech Republic, Japan and the Netherlands.
