Document Number: 7018 More Than Half of the State’s School Districts Have Career Academies, Most Operating in 2004-05 Incorporated Nationally Recognized Core Elements - This report provides detailed information about 379 Florida career academies that were in operation during the 2004-05 school year. Information is provided on the extent to which the academies have implemented three nationally recognized career academy core elements: a small learning community, a college preparatory curriculum with a career theme, and partnerships with local employers and higher education.
