Securing Kentucky's Future: A Plan for Improving College Readiness and Success - A Kentucky task force developed six core recommendations to reduce the number of underprepared students who come to college and increase the effectiveness of programs to help these students. The recommendations include: update college admissions regulations; create an integrated accountability system tied to performance; fund infrastructure improvement; align college readiness standards and tie to educator professional development; better link educator preparation to college readiness; and develop early student interventions.
