Zero Tolerance: An Update, 2006 - Starting with guns in 1994, Tennessee has instituted “zero tolerance” policies that cover drugs and alcohol, violence and weapons. The analysis presented here details the number and frequencies of this kind of violation, addresses who are committing these offenses and discusses the expulsion, rehabilitation and dropout results due to “zero-tolerance” infractions in Tennessee in recent years.
