Document Number: 7506 California Community Colleges: Making Them Stronger and More Affordable - As college access continues to play a critical role in career advancement, California policymakers have tried to provide affordable opportunities in higher education. This report analyzes the effectiveness of these statewide policies in maintaining quality and access. The findings explain that California and its students are lacking substantial funding on both the state and federal levels.
