The Enhanced Reading Opportunities Study: Early Impact and Implementation Findings - A majority of ninth graders in low-performing high schools begin freshman year with significant reading difficulties. This report presents early findings from the Enhanced Reading Opportunities (ERO) study, which is an evaluation of two supplemental literacy programs. The research results suggest that the programs had a statistically significant impact on improving student reading comprehension scores.
