Keeping Pace with K-12 Online Learning: A Review of State-Level Policy and Practice - With supplemental classes and full-time programs, online learning is expanding nationwide. Funding is an important factor in continued growth, but so are such policies as teacher training in online instruction, creating true national content standards, allowing teachers to teach across state lines by encouraging reciprocal recognition and revising accounting standards like count dates and seat time that donít apply to the online environment.
