Unleashing Aspiration: The Final Report of the Panel on Fair Access to the Professions - The Panel was established by the UK's Prime Minister to advise on how to make a professional career truly open to as wide a pool of talent as possible. Although progress has been made the UK retains a "closed shop" mentality, closing out minorities, women, and low socio-economic citizens. There is evidence that entry into the professions has become more socially exclusive over time. The report lists 80 recommendations on the changes which must take place.
