Steady As She Goes? Three Generations of Students Through the Science and Engineering Pipeline - What might explain the loss of high-performing students from the STEM pipeline? This analysis strongly suggests that students are not leaving STEM pathways because of lack of preparation of ability. Instead, it suggests we look at whether the future in a STEM job is attractive.
