Document Number: 8504 Keeping Pace with K-12 Online Learning: An Annual Review of State-Level Policy and Practice - With the 2009 edition of this annual report, Keeping Pace partnered with the Southern Regional Education Board and the two organizations share the program survey efforts and the resulting data. With supplemental classes and full-time programs, online learning is expanding nationwide. Funding is an important factor in continued growth but so are such state policies as teacher training in online instruction, creating true national standards, allowing teachers to teach across state lines by encouragement of reciprocity and revising accounting standards.
