Most AA Graduates Pursue Baccalaureate Degrees, but Many Lack Information About Articulation Policies - Over the past five years, the number of students who transferred to a baccalaureate degree program after earning associate in arts (AA) degrees grew by 29%. However, 31% of students who earned AA degrees did not transfer to a baccalaureate degree program. Most of the students never applied for admission to a state university. A lack of information was the most common reason students reported for not applying to a baccalaureate program. (OPPAGA, January 2010)...
