Document Number: 8657 More Time for Learning: Promising Practices and Lessons Learned - The report, based on lessons learned over the past four years of the Initiative, highlights how successful expanded-time schools are using additional time to: (1) Individualize academic supports to meet student needs; (2) Help teachers strengthen instruction; (3) Use data to make effective decisions about how to focus teaching and learning; and (4) Add high-quality enrichment programs and community partners to build students’ skills, interest, and self-confidence.
