Document Number: 8845 College Persistence and Completion Strategies: Opportunities for Scaling Up - An examination of academic literature, state policies and specific campus-based initiatives regarding higher education access and completion suggests that a great deal of work remains to be done to ensure broad-based academic success. The authors concluded that access is not enough —we need a new commitment to address persistence.
