Class Differences: Online Education in the United States, 2010 - This is the 8th annual report on the state of online learning in U.S. higher education. The study is aimed at answering some of the fundamental questions about the nature and extent of online education. More than 2,500 colleges and universities answered questions about whether or not online learning is strategic, how many students are learning online, whether learning outcomes in online are comparable to face-to-face learning, and if online education has an impact of the economy.
