Document Number: 9130 Implementing Graduation Counts: State Progress to Date--2010 - Five years after all of the U.S. governors made a commitment to implement a common, more reliable formula for calculating their state's high school graduation rate, progress is steady. A total of 48 states will report the common formula calculations. At this point 49 states now report they have the data systems needed to track individual students and more accurately calculate the high school graduation rate.
