Interim Report: New Jersey Educator Effectiveness Task Force - The task force presents recommendations for improving student achievement in New Jersey by revamping the educator evaluation system. Their recommended system is based on the knowledge that educator effectiveness is the most important in-school factor for improving student achievement. Like most states, New Jersey does not have a system that accurately differentiates the effectiveness of educators. A high quality system would enable districts and the state to vastly improve personnel decision and drive improvements in student learning.
