WWC Quick Review: Evaluation of the DC Opportunity Scholarship Program Final Report - This quick review examines a study on whether winning a lottery for scholarships to attend private schools affects reading and math achievement levels and graduation rates for K–12 low-income students.The study found little statistically significant effects on reading and math achievement. However, students who won the scholarship lottery were significantly more likely to graduate from high school. Winning the lottery did not have a statistically significant effect on reading.
